Using Print Mail to Find Targeted Customers

I love print mail. When used properly — which isn’t hard to do — it works great. Postcards, in particular, are awesome marketing tools for reaching customers in specific niches and for new products. They are also great for reaching new customers in existing markets who don’t know you exist.

Yes, people just throw them away (everyone always says that first) but how many other ways do you know about to get your brand and a quick message in front of someone for around 35 cents.

In my humble opinion, here are the 3 most important rules for postcard marketing:

  • Keep the message simple — I like for selling a single product or product line
  • Keep the cards going — we don’t do campaigns of fewer than 6 mailings
  • Targeted list for your product/service
