Let Them Know You Are Thinking of Them

This is more for sales than marketing but…

You probably attend miscellaneous events or training on a regular basis where you get sales or informational materials you don’t want.

Send those materials to send to someone — a prospect, friend, client — with a simple note such as “Hello, I thought of you when I saw this. Hope you get some good ideas from it.” 

Blam! just blew your mind.

The value of this is pretty clear. It costs a stamp and about 3 minutes of your time (or your assistant’s time) and you made a very personal and thoughtful contact with someone.

Yes, it’s ok to grab up the materials everyone else left at their seats when they left the event.
